Minimoog 1970 $1495US The classic analog monosynth. Models A-C were prototypes, (built from 1969-1970), while Model D was the production version. The Moog Minimoog is a 44 key monophonic synthesizer, featuring a three oscillators (triangle/saw/square/pulse waveforms) and white/pink noise source, a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated filter and amplifier ADSR (decay/release are shared) envelopes, glide, and filter input. The third oscillator can also function as an LFO.
Sonic 6 1972 ? Musonic's Sonic V adapted to Moog technology. Unique, with suitcase styling, dual LFOs (vs. dual EGs), mono or duophonic keyboard. The Moog Sonic Six is a 49 key monophonic synthesizer, featuring a dual oscillators (triangle/saw/pulse waveforms) and white/pink noise source, ring mod, a resonant low pass analog filter, amplifier envelope (ADR), dual LFOs (saw/square/triangle waveforms), glissando, filter and ring mod inputs, CV inputs.
Satellite 1972 ? Preset synth with some control over filter and LFO. The Moog Satellite is a 37 key monophonic preset synthesizer, featuring 12 presets, low pass and resonant band pass analog filters, an LFO (sine/square waveforms), and glide.
Minitmoog 1975 ? Dual oscillator Satellite with aftertouch The Moog Minitmoog is a 37 key monophonic preset synthesizer, featuring 12 presets, dual oscillators, low pass and resonant band pass analog filters, an LFO (sine/square waveforms), aftertouch, and glide.
Micromoog 1974 ? A simple single oscillator monosynth. The Moog Micromoog is a 32 key monophonic synthesizer, featuring an oscillator (variable saw/pulse waveforms) with sub and pink noise source, a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated (ADR, shared DR) filter and amplifier envelopes, an LFO (bend/random/square/triangle waveforms), glide, filter input, ribbon controller, and CV/gate IO.
Taurus 1975 ? Bass pedal monosynth The Moog Taurus is a 13 pedal monophonic synthesizer, featuring dual oscillators (saw waveform), a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated filter (AD) and amplifier (ADS) envelopes, and 3 presets.
Polymoog Synthesizer 1975 $5295US A fully polyphonic synth (model 203A), with a dedicated brightness VCF and VCA for each key (i.e. 71 total), but two divided VCOs, a shared programmable VCF, and a bad reputation for being unreliable (and expensive to fix). Lower (two octaves) and Upper (4 octaves) have dedicated waveforms, saw volume, pulse width, and filter (on/off) settings. The Moog Polymoog Synthesizer is a 71 key fully polyphonic synthesizer, featuring saw and pulse oscillators, a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated filter (ADS) and amplifier (ADSR, with shared D/R) envelopes, dedicated oscillator, PWM, and filter LFOs, glide, multiple input and outputs, ribbon controller, 3 low/band/high pass resonators, 8 presets, and CV/gate IO.
Polymoog Keyboard 1978 ? Preset only (model 280A) The Moog Polymoog Keyboard is a 71 key fully polyphonic synthesizer, featuring a resonant low pass analog bass filter, variable amplifier attack, vibrato, glide, dedicated mix/upper/lower outputs, 14 presets, and CV/gate outputs.
Multimoog 1978 $1595US Dual oscillator Micromoog with key pressure (aftertouch). The Moog Multimoog is a 44 key (aftertouch sensitive) monophonic synthesizer, featuring a dual oscillators (variable saw/pulse waveforms) with sub and pink noise source, a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated (ADR, shared D/R) filter and amplifier envelopes, an LFO (bend/random/square/triangle waveforms), glide, filter input, ribbon controller, and CV/gate IO.
Prodigy 1979 ? Another simplified dual oscillator (no noise or sub) monosynth. The Moog Prodigy is a 32 key monophonic synthesizer, featuring a dual oscillators (saw/pulse/triangle waveforms), a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated (ADSR, shared D/R) filter and amplifier envelopes, an LFO (square/triangle waveforms), and glide.
Opus-3 1979 ? Ensemble synth with 3 sections (strings, organ, brass). The Moog Opus-3 is a 49 key polyphonic ensemble synthesizer, featuring string, organ, and brass sections, along with an LFO routed to pitch and filter cut-off, chorus, stereo outputs, and an AR volume envelope. The string section has a resonant low/band/high pass analog filter. The organ section has a 12dB tone control and shares a resonant 24dB low pass analog filter with the brass section (ADSR envelope with shared D/R).
Liberation 1979 ? Simple dual oscillator monosynth keytar with ring-mod. The Moog Liberation is a 44 key monophonic synthesizer (with a 10 voice polyphonic section), featuring a dual oscillators (saw/pulse/square waveforms), noise source, ring-mod, a resonant low pass analog filter, dedicated (ADSR, shared D/R) filter and amplifier envelopes, an LFO (random/square/triangle waveforms), ribbon controller, and glide.
Rogue 1979 $495US Another simple monosynth, swapping dedicated EGs for gate/CV IO The Moog Rogue is a 32 key monophonic synthesizer (with a 10 voice polyphonic section), featuring a dual oscillators (saw/pulse/square waveforms), noise source, a resonant low pass analog filter, an ADSR (shared D/R) envelope, an LFO (random/square/triangle waveforms), CV/gate I/O, filter input, and glide.
Concertmate MG-1 1981 $499.95US RadioShack Realistic rebranded version, somewhere between a Rogue and a Liberation The (Moog) RadioShack Realistic Concertmate MG-1 is a 32 key monophonic synthesizer (with a 10 voice polyphonic section), featuring a dual oscillators (saw/pulse/square waveforms), noise source, ring-mod, a resonant low pass analog filter, an ADSR (shared D/R) envelope, an LFO (random/square/triangle waveforms), CV/gate inputs, and glide.
TaurusII 1979 ? Bass pedal version of a Rogue The Moog TaurusII is a 18 pedal monophonic synthesizer (with a 10 voice polyphonic section), featuring a dual oscillators (saw/pulse/square waveforms), noise source, a resonant low pass analog filter, an ADSR (shared D/R) envelope, an LFO (random/square/triangle waveforms), CV/gate I/O, filter input, and glide.
Source 1981 $1395US Similar to a Prodigy, upgraded with full ADSR EGs, noise source, some digital control, and memory.
