The Roland JV-2080 is a 2U rack (aftertouch and velocity sensitive), 16-64 voice (4|8-part multimbral), GM compatible digital synthesizer, featuring 1-4 oscillators (448 samples with FM and ring-mod) per patch (768 patches, 128 editable), resonant low|high|band-pass|peaking filter, dedicated (4-stage) pitch, filter, and amp envelopes, dual LFOs (noise, random, saw, sine, square, S/H, trapezoid, triangle waveforms with offset and attack|decay), portamento, reverb/chorus, multi-effects, PCM and program card slots, 12 rhythm sets (2 editable), 8 expansion slots, 3 stereo outputs, and MIDI.
