The Yamaha A5000 is a (velocity and aftertouch) sensitive 2U rack (128 voice multitimbral) 16 bit sampler, featuring stereo|mono sampling (5.5125|11.025|22.05|44.1kHz), multimode (notch or low, high, or band pass) filter, dedicated (pitch, filter, and amp) 3 stage EGs, dual LFOs (saw, square, triangle, random waveforms), 6 effects processors, 3-band EQ, stereo sample inputs, dual stereo outputs, DSHD floppy drive, SCSI (internal and exetrnal HD support), MIDI, extensive sample import capabilities, and 128 presets. Sample editing includes loop crossfade, normalize, time-stretch, pitch-conversion, reverse, trim, and fade.
