The Yamaha VL70-m is a pressure and velocity sensitive 1U half rack (monophonic) Virtual Acoustic modelling synthesizer, featuring up a single element, effects, MIDI, WX input, PC/Mac, interface, and 320 presets (64 editable). The element features a modelled instrument and associated controllers/modifiers. Element controllers include pressure (with preset ADSR envelope), embouchure/pitch (with IHD envelope), vibrato, tonguing, amplitude (with AADSR envelope shared with filter), scream, breath noise, growl, throat formant, dynamic filter (high, low, or band pass or band reject), harmonic enhancer (FM), damping, and absorption. Modifiers include extensive key scaling, 5 band parametric equalizer, Impulse Expander (delay), and resonator (parallel delays).
